Miami Law Women raises $6,000 for breast cancer awareness

On February 10, 2007, Miami Law Women, in conjunction with Lawful Productions, held what will become an annual party to raise money for breast cancer research initiatives and support groups. Held at the Sagamore Hotel in South Beach, the first annual Pink & White Party brought the entire law school community together for an event that raised nearly $6,000 and drew a crowd of over 500 people. We look forward to doubling that amount next year and we encourage students to look into the beneficiary organizations: Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Be Bright Pink.
